I’m here at the Dead Sea in Jordan where I delivered the key note for the E-mediat Networking Conference, “New Media for the Networked NGO.” Organizations raised almost $125,000 through integrated social media campaigns from donors. 12 training centers have been established.

I’m honored to be working on some social media capacity projects to assist NGOs that are supporting women’s issues – from a learning exchange for Packard Foundation Grantees in Pakistan to a Women’s Leadership Network in Africa to the e-mediat that is working with many NGOs that support women and girls in the Arab World.

Building a solid core, participants can use social media tools to easily connect NGOS with new people who have knowledge, resources, and ideas to share to help with the project goals. You can do a whole network analysis which looks at organizations and people in specific geographic or social change area.
