I love Shel's writing - he tells one great story after another. Better yet, add it as a photo to the Twitterville Flickr Group. It's a great read! Fabulous storytelling.

I took photos of my daughter wearing the t-shirts with thank you notes for each of the donors. I got recognition from BusinessWeek and the story was shared in this post. By the time you read this post, I’ll be in Cambodia. For those of you who have been following my blogging since 2004, you know why Cambodia is in my heart!

Yoga challenged their community to do one yoga pose per day and share a photo on social media. Check out this example from Israel Tennis & Education Centers Foundation. For example, you can ask participants to complete a challenge and raise money to support what they’re doing. Throughout the month of February, Yeah!

They have posed for photos in t-shirts , emptied their piggy banks , helped me make fundraising videos , contributed clothing or other items to drives at school, and have attended lots of fund raising events, including last week's Tweetsgiving Meetup where my daughter won a lunch with Twitterville author Shel Israel that was being raffled off.

Some do both. There is a debate as to whether “liking” a story or photo on Facebook can lead to social change on the ground, but I believe that networks are ecosystems with people who take their ISR more deeply than others – and that we have to think of ISR in terms of a ladder of engagement. Others may donate.
