That comment isn’t meant to cast shade; just to point out that although the bots are fun, there are still some hurdles involved in really putting them to work. Fun fact–the first Chatbot, Eliza, was developed in the 1960s by MIT professor, Joseph Weizenbaum. Associations could take a lesson in customer delight from Las Vegas.

Fun fact— Watson was developed to answer questions on the quiz show Jeopardy! Last week I mentioned Rose, the Las Vegas Cosmopolitan Hotel’s digital concierge. and in 2011 won a $1 million prize! Watson’s first commercial application was more serious.

This has included the annual Red, White, and Blue Fun Run and the popular Boots and Ball Gowns gala. The Fun Run, held in Orangeville, California, has continued to attract more and more participants each year. Melissa described bringing “her” to a military influencers conference in Las Vegas.

My favorite moments from the 50 races this year were: Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas - The 5K and 10K had been on my bucket list for years. Midnight Run 5K (Leawood, KS) & Night Flight Legacy Park 5K (Lee's Summit,MO) -- Fun times running late at night. I ran both races. And, runners enjoyed free BBQ at the finish line.
