Ranger Rick Image from Facebook profile. So a hat tip to Katrin Verclas and Progressive Exchange listserv. Facebook has been taking down organizational profiles for nonprofits, including Ranger Rick's profile. We need your help to bring back Ranger Rick's profile that was recently taken down by Facebook Staff.

You can post status updates, leave comments on other people's profile (think: wall). From time to time I will pull up a user profile to monitor what folks are doing in Salesforce since I have feeds turned on for Accounts and Opportunities, but that's about it. I posted on-topic comments in Groups and posted to profiles.

Right before I left for Cambodia, Ranger Rick's profile (the spokesperson for NWF) was deleted from Facebook because it was "fake" and the policy is that only individuals can set up profiles. In this post, the GrokDotCom blog picks up the Free Ranger Rick thread and asks: Are non-profits an endangered species on Facebook?

I first met Amy Fox when she de-lurked on the Museum Computer Network listserv. It's free insight into their follower's daily lives. Make sure your profile reveals that you are a real person interested in museums so when you start following people a quick glance at your profile explains why you are following them.
