Unconference this really resonated with me when Paul Young of charity: water said in his keynote, what if your online communications (website, social media, fundraising appeals) looked like how you talked. There has been a lot of great discussion over the past year about organizations striving to be more human. Listen to your Community.

Conference , especially the “ unconference sessions “ in Washington, DC on Friday. For example, they immediately start updating their Facebook page letting people know what information is available and they are there. I participated in two unconference sessions. I don’t often get a chance to listen and learn.

At the end of that panel, we all hoped there would be a larger nonprofit presence on the agenda for this 2009. And yes, indeed, in 2009, there were more nonprofit focused panels and happily the trend continued at SXSW 2010.
