I feel that my technology training for nonprofits work is more like a calling for me than simply a job or career. Can you describe your work in the nonprofit technology field? Out of all this work, a software application was born, called MEMBERS ONLY, a modular application for nonprofit CRM. I see five Michael Stein's (not counting myself) in my LinkedIn Network, for example. Wikis or Writely can certainly be more efficient.

What's a wiki? Wikis are websites that are extremely easy for anyone (even you!) The most well-known example is Wikipedia , a user-generated encyclopedia which boasts over 6 million entries written and edited by about 30,000 volunteer participants. Its success can distort understanding of what makes a wiki work.

Here's an example that took me 3 minutes to create: fill out this form to be added to our imaginary directory ! Yammer works like Twitter--people send out short messages that anyone can read or follow. Whereas blogs are a good reporting mechanism, wikis are a better collaborative tool. For example, here's my Delicious page.
