We filed the following comments to the Copyright Office's request for comments on issues about access for people with print disabilities. Many of the comments critical of the proposed treaty come from parties that object in principle to copyright exceptions, rather than having a direct stake in the issue at hand.

There was also an associated effort called the Trusted Intermediary Global Accessible Resources (TIGAR) project, to ease the exchange of accessible book files between libraries for the blind and print disabled. So, in the meanwhile, we will need to rely on licenses: permissions agreements. I had a sinking feeling in my stomach.

We can use the same ebook file to deliver the content ten different ways. I believe it is a combination of copyright exceptions and business model innovations. For the content of books, this flexibility is expressed in ideas like public domain, when the copyright owned by the author or publisher ends at some point.

The title is " Remix This Powerpoint " -- it's some draft thoughts on remixing and wink to SlideShare's new feature - the ability to download the Powerpoint file ! The CC licensed work on Flickr and CCmixter are wonderful resources.

My (incorrect) perception that non-copyrighted music is crap. Why add KB or MB to the file size when my content instructional. I thought that any non-copyrighted music might be hopelessly amateur. Are there other sources for music with flexible copyright license? Trade Off: What value does music add?
