For example, during a severe snowstorm on the East Coast of the U.S., LABB created an Oil Spill Crisis Map in response to the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010. Speaking of resources, Microsoft recently offered the licensing to their Local Impact Map , free of cost, to nonprofits. A $15 monthly hosting fee will allow you to embed a customized map on your website that clearly shows the regions your organization is impacting. Way to go Jenica!
