The Chase Community Giving contest on Facebook is one of the biggest online contests thus far, open to more than 500,000 charities. The groups say that until Chase made changes to the contest, they appeared to be among the top 100 vote-getters. These were removed in the final days of the contest.

Dig out that camcorder 'cause Quantum Shift TV has launched a video contest with social impact for students in the U.S. School Video Contest. Student teams will work on social or environmental projects of their choice and document their progress in a series of two short videos. by December 15, 2007.

It's a sister company of Geneva Global: Performance Philanthropy. At the end of the grant period, we tally the votes and distribute the money to the winner."

I remember when I was first joined Facebook in 2007 how surprised I was the first time friends left birthday messages on my wall.
