Which brings me to the reason why I love SlideShare. SlideShare is a social networking site that lets you share Powerpoint presentations. My wildest dream would be for many nonprofits to upload and share powerpoint presentation (and screencasts) and we could remix each other's work - it would save us time and help build knowledge.

I always include a good list of resources, particularly how-to steps, videos, and screencasts. I use delicious, slideshare, and twitter. The social media integration also includes setting up a #hashtag, uploading slides into slideshare, and living link lists on delicious. Share Your PowerPoint Deck with SlideShare.

Find a simple screencast on how to do a TweetChat. on Slideshare. Type in the hashtag for this tweetchat, which is #VirtualTeams. change slideshare group name ( done ). re-do the screencasts on the wiki (will redo over the weekend. Stuff to change: logo (done). wiki name ( done ). get domain name (done - wearemedia.org ). replace old name on the text in the wiki (need some help!). retag all the items tagged in del.icio.us ( done ) (can a tag be trademarked?).

Nptech resources can be found on delicious , flickr , slideshare , and Twitter. Consider having a coaching system - perhaps some quick videos or screencasts that show how to participate, or perhaps a live webinar where people are asked to participate in a “sandbox” space and ask questions about the tool(s). Hard to use.

I've even taught my children about creative commons (check out Harry's screencast - What A Second Grader Knows About Creative Commons that earned him a feature story in the School Library Association Journal) All of this assumes that people really bother to look at the license, understand it , and respect the rules.
