I thought a lot about Dad's blog and decided to set something up on wordpress since I will probably be the defacto technical support. I've also started a second "intergenerational" or rather in interdecade blog mentoring with Juanita. Also, I think he much rather play with his grandchildren right now.

I use a variety of tools for this analysis, including Google Analytics, Feedburner subscriber counts, and manually tracking comment to post ratios (typepad doesn't have a nifty plugin like wordpress to automate that grunge work) A tool that use to evlauate my content is PostRank.
