Here's another set of spams claiming to come from Inuit. This batch confirms my non-existent purchases with links to download my order, reorder checks, and submit feedback. Please download your complete order. An earlier batch asked me to provide my tax information. It looks official, with an Intuit logo and nice formatting.

These spams aren't 100% lame -- at least they included a logo and some design elements. This is Very Important lets you:" "If you still did not, download the Intuit application.". Get started: Step 1: If you still did not, download the Intuit application. This article says they're malware delivery devices. Check UserID.

Since spammers don't bother with list hygiene, a new variant results in multiple messages in my spam folder. Today I got 4 versions of this spam. Attachment: claims to be a Word doc, but is a hyperlink to download-eftps [dot] com. That should be a dead giveaway to anyone receiving these messages. doc (Microsoft Word Document).

I received seven copies of two versions of this spam. To read the encrypted message, complete the following steps: - Double-click the encrypted message file attachment to download the file to your computer. Plain text, no formatting, no logos. This site lists them as malware delivery devices but doesn't elaborate on the threat.
