The Washington Post did a great article today that reinforces the value of nonprofits' using email as a core fundraising strategy rather then social networks. It seemed too early to tell, but then, when we checked back about a year later, we found this interesting and profound story about the nonprofit group "Save Darfur."

Perhaps it is because my generation was raised reading The Diary of Anne Frank and watching dozens of movies about the Holocaust. As part of the anti-genocide moment, we raise both money and political will for civilian protection initiatives around the world. One of the world's challenges that disturbs me the most is genocide.
