I remember the day I told my wife, Virginia, that I’d do this “nonprofit thing” for just one year and then go back to regular for-profit high tech companies. That treaty should replicate the successful copyright exception here in the U.S. That was over 24 years ago! We hope you’ll join us on this journey.

can easily see which books have global permissions, which are required when we can't rely on our copyright exemption (which only works inside the U.S.). The first is the initial international changes as we take Bookshare.org global. Users with disabilities outside the U.S. Crucial first steps on the road to taking this service global!
