I'm now on my first-ever trip to mainland China, thanks to the Hadley School for the Blind twentieth anniversary of their China school. nonprofit to have a China branch, but truly amazing that it's been there for twenty years. It's impressive what people in Hong Kong have done with their tiny patch of China.

Fuzhou to Beijing

After a wonderful final banquet with our Hadley China hosts, we got up early to head to Beijing. The first disability group we visited was the China Disabled Persons' Federation , which is the main national group. We had noticed that there were no blind people at one of the big universities we had visited in Fuzhou.
