At the time, my husband was in medical school and I was going insane trying to keep myself occupied, so I started writing.

I had a great time yesterday at Transparency Camp '09 in DC - kudos to Peter Corbett , and Gabriela Schneider and Clay Johnson and others at Sunlight Foundation , as well as others for catalyzing it. And the " bar camp " format, or unconference or "open space" approach, really leads to meaningful topics and peer to peer discussions.

What does it mean that one blog has three times as many users as another blog in the nonprofit tech space? These are events where a group of bloggers write about a particularly topic on a particular day. The event is encouraging bloggers around the web to write a post about the environment. I think it means nothing.
