As the museum's website puts it, "this exhibition examines how artists have engaged members of the public as essential collaborators in the art-making process." Staff play a major role in setting expectations about what visitors can and can not do-especially in art museums. People could watch what was happening and join in.

The chairs were cast-off art, reclaimed as art, available for people to take off the hooks and use. They were there for artist talks. Every other year, they convene TUPAC, a group of 35 outside advisors, including teens, college students, Temple University professors, artists, philanthropists, and community leaders.

American Jazz Museum Gold – Cultural Institutions Website Located in the Historic 18th & Vine Jazz District in Kansas City, MO, the American Jazz Museum showcases the sights and sounds of jazz through interactive exhibits and films, and features live music in their venues, The Blue Room, and Gem Theater.

In almost all cases, museums assure me that they want to be in conversation, that they want to be responsive, that they want to “really hear” what people think. Sadly, it was the second story that was about a museum. When those spaces are factored in, there are more than 250 works by female artists on view now.

Forum One partnered with the Museum to launch their new brand to the world. This work not only included launching a new website but also revitalizing the American Jazz Museum brand as a whole. This beautifully designed branding and website won five awards this year! Forum One worked with NRDC this year to redesign their website.
