it actually tells you, with much richer context: I personally love data-map mashups and Qriously uses them brilliantly! The data on these maps shows the number of responses as well as the direction of response, where orange = “data&# and blue = “friends&#. The questions could actually be calls to action!

The way I see it, there are many directions that technology is aiding social change work: enabling data sharing, exchange and mapping. As the numbers of users grow, so do your number of friends, and then in turn so does the frequnecy of news items, status updates, and general calls to action for your network. Good question.
