6,057 donors completed the 2018 Global Trends in Giving Survey and based on their responses, the donor community worldwide is made up of primarily women (65%) who have a liberal ideology (53%) , characterize themselves as religious (72%), and give between ($101-$1,000 USD) annually (43%). 30% said Facebook Messenger and 5% said Snapchat.

I delivered a keynote for Social Good Brasil in 2012 and for a conference on volunteering hosted by Fundação Telefônica in 2014. The UN Global Report is also using Facebook Messenger bots to engage young people around different issues. This was my third visit to the country. Engagement with a purpose and knowing your audience.

I think that unplugging and limiting internet and tech use is an upcoming cultural trend, so I was thrilled to see that one of the sessions was Unplug, Unfriend, Unfollow, Unwind: Is That Sacrilege? My 5 takeaways were: Checking email, Twitter and Facebook constantly can be "insecurity work.". BlogHer '12 : August 2-4, 2012 (NYC).

Well, as of October 2012, Google Wallet is the first wallet service to launch the ability to donate online via a Google Wallet “Donate” button. The new time allotment and updated tool list is as follows: Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube: 15 Hours Weekly. Chapter 3 :: Find Your Facebook Voice.
