The annual observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is today, December 3rd. The theme of IDPD 2011 is “Together for a better world for all: Including persons with disabilities in development.” One of these sub-themes is “Accessibility: removing barriers and promoting disability-inclusive development.”

Use virtual tools to manage campaign internally (Yammer, Google Docs, Listening Dashboards, Private Facebook Groups, etc). The book also covers what staffing structure is required for success of multichannel campaigns. This is called the hybrid model – although it has to be silo free for it work. Encourage brainstorming.

In 2011, I’ll be the lead for Zoetica on a NGO/social media train the trainers project in the Middle East , sponsored by the State Department and others and has multiple partners.
