UPDATED 1/8/12: Thanks to the launch of Google+ Pages for brands, Google+ traffic hit an all time high in December 2011 and it’s likely that the trend will continue in 2012. Add your nonprofit’s Twibbon/avatar to your Google+ Profile picture. Add your nonprofit under “Employment.”

We are planning to launch a mobile version of our website in 2011. Our official launch of text-to-donate will be January 3, 2011 at another Los Angeles Kings hockey game. What is on your To Do List for 2011? (1) 1) I would like to use QR codes at many of our 2011 events. (2) 5) Launch a mobile version of www.pancan.org.

Your supporters also want to see what your staff and working space look like – the human beings behind the avatar, if you will. In 2011 I had gotten in the very bad habit of listening to (mostly) CNN in the background while working… all day long. I didn’t even really grasp it and it’s potential until mid-2011.

When Mashable first started buzzing about Pinterest in December 2011, I took a quick look at the site and thought to myself, “Shopping, crafters, and foodies. Not relevant to the vast majority of nonprofits and (whew!) not another site I need to pay attention to.”
