"The percentage of Americans who have ever watched or listened to a podcast is 45%, up from 43% one year ago. I edit the Big Vision Podcast on GarageBand , which came with my MacBook. I don't have one, but Libsyn can also help you make your podcast into an iPhone, or Android app. Podcasters group.

Those marketers with the most social media experience put the highest focus on content creation, using YouTube, blogging and podcasting to do so. The main area that marketers were looking to increase their output through was blogging, which was the first time it was seen as the top priority since 2010.

PBS has quite a number, as do various and sundry video podcasters. Miro is basically a video player, which can recognize RSS feeds, and automatically download videos. There are channels for everything. I get Democracy Now, ABC politics, the Webb Alert (a daily geek news headlines show,) Bill Moyers Journal, and lots of others.

I think one of the biggest mistakes that an organization can make with its website is to promise more than it can deliver – make sure that the resources to create that blog, or podcast, or photo gallery, or whatever bells and whistles that you promise on your website, are there when the website goes live.

What Apple did do correctly is allow users to submit their own podcast and homemade music on the itunes website. Because of this ‘open’ philosophy on podcasting, Apple has seen some spill over to their computers and phone. There are better sites for music and there are adequate players for 1/5th the price.
