Google has a number of partners, including social network sites like LinkedIn, Friendster and Ning, as well as Salesforce, which does have very interesting implications given the increasing use of Salesforce in the nonprofit sector.

Source: Weather Channel Alerts 2009 was looking like a very uneventful hurricane season. That is until Hurricane Ida slammed into El Salvador killing 91 people as of this writing. He set up a Ning site Hurricane Information Center. It is now headed towards the gulf coast of the US.
