Facebook would do well to follow the lead of Twitter, MySpace and YouTube. years now, and in comparison to Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace and YouTube, the Facebook Page tool set is pretty limited. Event invitations are tied to personal profiles, not Pages. It was created in 2009 long before there were Community Pages.

I never did start a MySpace page, and I don’t imagine I ever will. But there isn’t an easy way, for instance for me to see other’s data without actually clicking through to their profile. I’ve got my flickr photostream up there, my del.icio.us bookmarks, and all of the varied data on the varied Facebook apps.
