For example, in April 2007 I wrote 52 posts, but in April 2008 I wrote 61. In early 2008 it was slightly lower for several reasons. In June 2008, it has more than doubled. I had less of those in May, 2008 compared to May 2007. What does that mean? This metric is only meaningful (to me) when considered against a goal.
