Marshall has a great post about a technorati tag bookmarklet that can save you a lot of grunt work. Technorati tags can help you attract more readers for your blog and also facilitate contributing to the collective community wisdom surrounding a particular tag. But it required some editing to make it link the tag to Technorati.

Go no further than this excellent screencast from Marshall Kirkpatrick. And let's say that your social media radar includes using "persistent search" (plugging in some key words into technorati search or blog search engine and subscribing to it via RSS). Why would you ever want to use Yahoo Pipes you might be wondering?

I'm obsessing about screencasts - I'm learning, creating, making mistakes, and even beginning to like this rabbit I jumped down. I need to do the same for screencasts. So, I've decided to start a weekly post "Screencast of the Week" using the tag "scotw" This screencast comes from FoxyTunes.

Technorati Tags: attention , nptech , net2. I made my second screencast of the experience while I still had a few days left on the free trial of the expensive software. I installed it - it was easy and the FAQ answered my basic questions about my new tool. I was able to dig deeper into the editing functions.

I am waiting for a couple of videos to be available on YouTube so I can play with the remixer on TestTube and finish the Cambodia Video Blogging Workshop materials and screencast. Stephen goes on to critique automated rating services like Technorati. For one thing, I don't agree with McLeod's argument.

I'm not sure if Christine obsesses about her technorati rating, but she sure does care about blog search widgets and has found something even better than the technorati widget.
