I am working on a screencast about widgets -- more specifically free and easy-to-use community building tools for your blog. Now, don't dispair if you using another blogging platform, Vizu lets you export the code in a few ways so you can cut and paste it easily into several other popular blogging platforms, including myspace.

An interesting point about using MySpace: "It can definitely be used for recruitment and as a mass communications tool, particularly for younger voters who tend to use email less. The key is to move MySpace friends onto normal advocacy lists as soon as possible. It launches with an 11/11 orientation.

How short was the hype cycle of MySpace? Should all nonprofits be doing all of these things, plus blogging, social bookmarking, IM, screencasting, user-generated content, etc. tool after Web 2.0 Of YouTube? Of Facebook? Of Second Life? Are all of these important? I think the message that nonprofits are getting from us ???
