Google Global Impact Award competitions have been held in India and the UK, and most recently in the San Francisco Bay Area. Bring Me a Book is creating a "literacy ecosystem" via social media in Alameda and Santa Clara Counties. It is also developing a scalable model and toolkit for other communities to do the same work.
