Twitter search is your best friend for finding out what’s going on in the real time conversation world of microblogging. Have a Google Blog Search and Technorati Blog Search running at all times to see what the Blogosphere has to say. Monitor what’s being bubbled up about you on Digg. Lot’s of options here.

Digg Reader. praised Digg Reader for its clean, minimal design and rich social media features. For example, you can search "nonprofit technology" to find related blogs, or you can peruse Feedly's curated "Technology Hub." " It is also very easy to import your feeds from your old reader to Feedly.

Last week, we had a NpTech Conference call (see Marnie's notes here and my stabb at a summary here ) During the call Nancy White mentioned "social search" and later she forwarded this note about a Yi-Tan tech community call on the topic today.
