While many of these new apps are the inevitable "me too" calendar and wiki pages, a few of them, like GroupSharp , which hit her list just the other day, are beginning to demonstrate usable and flexible business functionality, the kind of thing a small non-profit might really gain from. In other words, its a candy store for programmers.

One piece we did not use that we could have gotten some leverage- Pathable can add a mini WetPaint wiki to each session listed in the calendar, so we could have asked people to share notes, links there. Still later in the conference we saw numbers of about 30-60 viewers in Second Life and over 100 on the live Flash stream.
