I say “officially” because May 1 is the date on our incorporation papers, but the real date is April 22, when I opened up shop in shared office space in Georgetown, Washington, DC. Matrix Group is officially 25 years old today. Doing THAT would be the fastest way to planned obsolescence.

Their theme was “Building Community through Collaboration.” Collaborations with community members often can't get off the ground because they are seen as too unwieldy to be worthwhile. It's called One Million Giraffes.
