The camp took place in Cha-am, Petchburi, Thailand.

One of the ideas I've been exploring is the whole notion of video blogging from Cambodia by Cambodians. While I was in Chicago, Ryanne Hodson , who I met at last year's BlogHer, is in Cambodia and Southeast Asia with Jay Dedman to document the work of Project Hope International. I'm going to the Cambodian Blogger Summit in a few weeks.

Later, as more and more people created web pages, I would hand facilitate comments and did primitive crowd sourcing. I used my webcam attached my laptop as my first digital camera to record photos from a conference that I was taking notes for - and then publishing as web pages. The Typo Police Page. I'm happy that my new laptop has an extended battery life so I am writing some reflections on the plane en route to Boston. The director of the Center has been there since 1977 and is originally from Cambodia. I should have thought more about using my laptop and the projector. What worked? What didn't? Observations.

followed by 20-30 minutes of discussion with the audience facilitated by the hosts. The venue, a historic theater with small table seating, made it feel more like a cafe except everyone in the audience had a laptop or hand held device for blogging, taking notes, and tweeting. It reminded more of a saloon than a conference.
