I am in Cambodia as part of Tech2Empower , an initiative of Wake. Advisers contribute their skills and expertise to provide training and mentoring to help amplify the work of anti-trafficking organizations in Cambodia. I’ve also taught social media to young people in Cambodia.

The frameworks and tips we outlined were field tested in real-time as part of my work as Visiting Scholar at the Packard Foundation with 60 of their grantees who participated in a peer learning/focuss group and contributed many of the case studies. My family is sponsoring Keo Savon , who we met this summer in Cambodia.

Whether I'm fundraising for Cambodia or Creative Commons , I involve my kids. We have dinner table discussions on why it is important to support causes, particularly programs in Cambodia like the Sharing Foundation. What a great way to teach your children to become more thoughtful and responsible about the world we live in.

Making media together is another way to teach your children about various causes. She earns a monthly wage working for the sewing school and shop, a vocational program run by the Foundation that trains young women so they can earn a sustainable living wage. She now is being taken care of at The Sharing Foundation's Roteang Orphanage.

I can't do this alone and that's why I'm asking my blogger friends to join me and in helping to raise money to help the many children who are touched by the Sharing Foundation's programs. My husband and I adopted two beautiful children, Harry and Sara, from Cambodia. On our first trip we were overjoyed to bring our son, Harry, home.
