And as Britt said, I also am the Art and Media Director at the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights , which is based out of Oakland. The homicide rate, as people are probably aware of, has just really increased in the last few years in Oakland, where I live. What I do is, I write for several blogs, as she mentioned.
