Last month Nancy White wrote a post about a very cool fundraising blog, the Nata Village blog , that I want to share with you. Readers can donate directly to the village through the blog's PayPal account. Nata is a village of 5,000 people in Botswana. Botswana has the second highest HIV infection rate in Africa.

David Barnard has completed six of these grueling races: The Kalahari Desert in Botswana and South Africa (its name is derived from a Tswana word meaning "the great thirst"). On his blog , he says: "I am especially running this race for you. This includes approximately 200 deaths of young children every year.
