Teachers used my IQ to recommend me for advanced courses, and such avenues awarded me the ability to attempt learning more difficult topics. But even then, I often felt my mind drifting off in class, doodled on notes, or encountered moments where I was not motivated enough to attempt to process the course content.

Courses: We can define a course as an overall themed learning, with a set duration of weeks, comprised of many classes. Classes: a furtherance of courses, allowing for instruction and defined building block learning style. Quizzes: Occur weekly/bi-weekly to reinforce class assignments and instruction.

In the Learning and Development world training has migrated from solely instructional and self-taught.
