Hunger is a global issue that affects everyone, everywhere. A couple of weeks ago, we announced our first cohort on Zero Hunger, focusing on food insecurity in the United States. But as we know, getting to Zero Hunger will take collaboration from all regions, with multiple approaches to address the contributing factors.

The awards will be given out in June at a national summit that will recognize the leaders and 60 semi-finalists. Each attending cooperative might represent, for example, 600 artists back home in Bangladesh. Oh yeah, and he used to organize a CROP walk almost every year in our town to raise money for local hunger agencies.

A lot of people have a lot of various associations with the word organic, and for some people organic implies food that's for a certain kind of person, that makes a certain amount of money and lives in a certain area, and we also know that organic only tells you a little piece about your food. So just trying to get us to really see that.
