We had almost 500 new additions to our email list from MySpace-which includes both profiles-our main HSUS profile and Sunny the Seals profile. It was important for us to carefully cross promote the advocacy campaigns between the two profiles and leverage the number of friends with our main profile.

Á la our Causes analysis awhile ago , we examined 150 nonprofit profiles on MySpace to see which functions people were using, how those features were working, and how much money their profiles were raising. Within MySpace, we searched the names of 383 of the largest, most well-known nonprofits to see if they had created profiles.

You can make it exponentially better if you build a ning type community where members share shopping experiences, "best deals" discount codes, etc and vie for a "most prolific shopper" award badge they can put on their profile.
