I don't think she is saying SL is a fad that will go away as other people without her depth of knowledge have articulated. If Danah is so deeply rooted in social spaces, like MySpace and others, it???s She is also saying that virtual worlds are not for everyone which is definitely true. s no wonder she does not see SL as a next step.

But I’ve taught hundreds of poetry students—kids and adults—who refuse to edit their poems. In other museums, I don’t get enough and I feel lost, like there’s something beautiful nearby but I can’t quite see or articulate it.
