Three pieces of advice for nonprofits looking at litigation as advocacy. It was clear that Congress was not going to take up real efforts to reform broken immigration laws. While we knew we couldn’t fix the entire system, we believed we could use the courts to create better laws under which we brought our clients’ cases.
