Kony 2012 turned slacktivism on its head. In the end, Kony 2012 made some noise and was a success, but it was still considered slacktivism. A portion of sales from each shirt also aided the zoo’s work to conserve wild orangutans. Cooper graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2011 with a bachelor''s degree in communications.
