But I wasn't prepared for the type of incoming information I saw in the weeks after January 12, 2010. . Multiple organizations and systems were having trouble coordinating and sharing information.

World Central Kitchen was founded by chef and activist José Andres in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Since then the organization has grown to work in 10 different countries. After the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, our founder José felt compelled by the news and flew down.
