It’s only by aggregating those contributions on a massive scale – on a web scale – that the business becomes lucrative. A new social networking site, called “Quetchup&# spammed (without permission) the contacts of people who signed up for the site. It’s not really mine, and I don’t like that.

5) The furor about “junk mail” is mild compared to that about spam—as it should be, because online communications is prey to all sorts of fraud. But the channel isnt setup to respond to individual behavior, rather its setup to look at aggregate. I get a lot of this mail because I take action alot online.
