One thing I think C3 (my org) does well is that we take a lot of short, successful hops. 2009 is going to be an interesting year. We want to figure out how to do a better job letting people know who we are and why we matter in a way they’ll listen. Do you want to feed the homeless or cure cancer?

Even for NTEN, which is extremely web-heavy in its mission, raw visit numbers will mean nothing related to how well it is doing its job. I don’t want to start a race to the top of the Nonprofit 25 – where organizations start spending more time worrying about their position on that list, and less time feeding people.
