In January, Cristi was named one of the 21 Leaders of the 21st Century for 2008 by Women's eNews. Hopefully sometime in 2008 we will be able to establish that office. CH: Yes, we do.

CompuMentor in due course turned into TechSoup when it became a national nonprofit, and TechSoup Global in 2008 after it had become an international organization. I heard about it in Hyderabad, India, at an Ashoka-Lemelson Foundation event. Daniel steered the organization through this growth.

The next area, where Women's Earth Alliance works, is in India , where we learned from our colleagues on the ground that support around creating sustainable agriculture would be the best thing we could do to help. One of the women that stands out is actually someone who participated in our 2008 training, which took place in Kenya.
