It could be the environment, it could be educational issues, political issues, international, national. For example, we put together the 2008 Seva Challenge. You won't see a rat in this environment, but God knows you do see and experience flies. It really didn't matter to us. We didn't want to micromanage someone's passion.

We saw the power of social media in Obama’s 2008 landslide victory. Behind the scenes, though, we’ll see massive new sets of data available to campaigns for targeting, empowerment, and optimization. The Green Map app is another that facilitates discovery and connects us to local green environments.

To me, that sort of sums up something very special about the way in which we try to make these resources accessible to women-led initiatives that are often some of the most creative that we are seeing on issues ranging from the environment, to health, to education, to building peace and sustainable communities around the world.
