A few months ago, I was chatting with Tony Karrer about this problem and he suggested that semantic tagging might work. Tony Karrer suggested that the approach of aggregating the RSS feeds of blogs, adding in semantic tagging, keyword search and browsable index might help. Or I can create a widget and add it as my sidebar.

A tag stream of web resources, videos, powerpoint slides, news items, etc. The ability to watch someone's tag stream and re-tag for personal meaning. A community tag stream. Facebook: 2007 "We own the social graph, you bring the objects." Will google set it free in 2007 ? Viral sharing.

What is interesting to me about this concept of a platform for change that is very different from say - campaigns on social networking sites like Facebook or the use of widgets and charity badges on blogs for personal fundraising campaigns -- is that while Virtual Worlds are empowering individuals -- we are empowering collective action.
