We work primarily in the Washington, DC area and in Southeast Asia to promote programs that are addressing the root causes of human trafficking, and to provide sustainable alternatives to trafficking. We do a lot of education here in the Washington, DC area, actually all over the United States. They agreed to be smuggled.

It is vital to the work of human rights investigations, and it serves many purposes. Over 8 weeks this last fall, I had the privilege of working with NGOs from Afghanistan, Cambodia, Iraq, Lebanon and Syria, in a series of trainings that took place in Phnom Penh, Beirut and Istanbul.
