I use an RSS reader to aggregate articles to read, a bookmarking tool (pinboard) to save links of interest, and conversational tools (Twitter and Facebook) to share. Most of the professional networks I belong to online operate using the most antiquated of text-based tools: the listserv.

I'm thinking a lot lately about tagging communities (NpTech Tag), information coping skills, and distributed and disperse nature of networked/connected knowledge sharing. Packrat: I think of digital pack rats as using tags and rss to aggregate information - the huge, unfiltered tag stream. I think I'm a digital curator.
