I'm facilitating a couple of workshops as part of the Social Media track for annual conference for the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in Louisville, KY. The first is 90 minutes that is an introduction to strategic social media for nonprofits. The value of this game is in the reiteration, remixing, and of course sharing.

Next week I'm doing a Webinar for Extension Professionals , a remix of 10 Steps to Association 2.0 which was a remix of Marnie Webb 's Ten Ways Nonprofits Can Change the World. My initial remix thought (wrong) was to look for examples that were related to agriculture, but the extension is so much more. I'm nervous. It's messy.

As part of my work as Visiting Scholar at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation this year, I have been leading some peer trainings with grantees. Last week, we launched the first session of the " Social Media Lab ," a social media peer group training with a small group of grantees from the Children, Families, Communities Program.

Yesterday, I facilitated a hot topic workshop at the Healthy Communities Annual Conference hosted by the Search Institute in Minneapolis. When I've do social media and nonprofit trainings, the audience consists of staff, board members, or volunteers from nonprofit organizations. This week I put that into practice. It was eye opening.
